	I know this sounds snotty, but I will never understand why people ask in the comments what something is. You're on the computer; google it. I found this in about 5 seconds: "L-dopa is a naturally-occurring dietary supplement and psychoactive drug found in certain kinds of food and herbs."

	I think people ask for an explanation for two reasons: 1) to comment on an item they do not believe belongs there and 2) to engage in a little back and forth communication with people whom they respect. It does no harm.
