@welshmafia5: Riff Raff and Magenta, up until the end, are just lackeys. The entire conflict comes from Frank. Sympathy for the antagonist at the end does not mean he's not the antagonist - look at Javert, for example.
@LeenaGhensvey: I've changed it so that Johanna is the main answer, but I'll leave Pretty Women as an acceptable alternate.
@ohlala8: It is true that the wizard is basically just a foil to Elphaba's character. But if I had to pick a character as the main antagonist, or at least the antithesis to Elphaba's character development, it'd be the wizard. I'll change the answer to accept March of the Witch Hunters as well, because you bring up a good point. |
