The dutch 'gas' comes from the belgium pronaunciation of chaos (by Jan Baptist van Helmont, the discoverer of gas).

this is not all of Dutch origin, mannequin is a French word (I'm pretty sure of that).

Mannequin comes from the French word mannequin, which had acquired the meaning "an artist's jointed model", which in turn came from the Middle Dutch word mannekijn, meaning "little man, figurine".(Wikipedia)
