Good! But Attack of the Clones was 2002, not 2005.

Great quiz! For some reason, though, the second ice age is coming up by typing the word 'the' into the answer box.

You should accept star wars 2 and 3, since you're accepting it for all the other series.

great idea for a quiz ... it is surprising how many of the highest grossing movies are crap sequels!

I considered it Miko, but they're technically Star Wars 5 and 6, so I did accept Star Wars Episode 2 and Star Wars Episode 3. And believe me aardvark, it was very frustrating putting this quiz together and seeing a sheer lack of original ideas in films nowadays

Chronicles of Narnia should be accepted. Kudos on not making us remember the titles of the Harry Potter or Pirates sequels. One of the best quizzes in awhile.

Due to "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" I couldn't let that be accepted. "Chronicles of Narnia 1" however, is. Thanks for the kudos. Please rank and nominate if you think it is front page worthy

One suggestion: For the Grossed column, you could give the number in millions so that Dark Knight would be $1,002 or $1,001.9. It would make it a little simpler.

Well, that's terribly depressing. Not your fault, though. Although I did type in "Transformers" 20 times, and it didn't work.

I agree Feste. Making this quiz was just as depressing as it was satisfying. Only about 7 of these 50 movies is not a remake, sequel or popular book adaptation. Original ideas apparently no longer make money. I'm not sure what happened with Transformers, though. It worked fine for me just now

I'd like to congratulate C.S. Lewis on surviving until 2005. (Really, how about Liam Neeson or Tilda Swinton who were actually involved in the film in question?)

Looks like if you want to make a lot of money off movies, make a series.
Harry Potter, Batman, Spiderman, Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings, Shrek, Transformers, The Matrix, James Bond, Ice Age, Twilight, Mission Impossible, Star Wars, Da Vinci Code, Indiana Jones, Madagascar and Night at the Museum.
34 of these films were a part of a series.

Ugh... transformers doesn't deserve to be on the top of any list. And, haha, I appreciate the aquaman reference. That should be bonus at the minimum!

I can never figure out Ben Stiller (insert year here). He's in so many movies it's hard to tell. I only got Madagascar because of the asterisk.
