I think the correct phrase is "dropped third strike" and you should also accept "catcher interference"

pinch runner is incorrect, unless you want to argue that it's a way for a specific player to get to first base. It's not a way to get a *runner* to first base - the runner already has to be there.

Correct phrase is actually "Uncaught third strike", as the pitch need not be dropped but simply not caught cleanly by the catcher
