| As a former Scrabble champ with a fascination for words, I'd thought about this as an exercise for a while. Initially, it seems fairly juvenile, but in actuality it is amazing to see how our language has so many words for something so abhorrent! In the end, I decided to go with single-word terms only, as there are just way too many if I'd included everything from the source. After considering whether people would take offence, I decided to "asterisk" only one answer. I considered including more words as bonus answers, but felt most of them too obscure.
