| I also loved Cars because I lived in Arizona for a few years right near Rt. 66. and it struck a cord with me. I liked Cars 2, especially Michael Caine, but it felt kind of shallow, which is not always a bad thing, however, I think that Pixar is held to a higher standard than other production companies. I just don't think Part 2 connected with adults as the previous Pixar films have done. I have read that the merchandising for the Cars films is much more profitable than any other Pixar film, hence my comment about the money. |
