[sarcasm] You *didnt* like the movie? But it was so much like the book and had no characters that werent in the first one! [/sarcasm] Yeah the movie was just terrible. What is everyones favourite and least favourite book in the series?

I got all of them apart from Scorpia. :) My favourite one was Ark Angel - but I haven't read Crocodile Tears.

Crocodile Tears was actually quite bad, JennyMarie and Traino. The villain's motivation was hilarious-he wanted to flood part of Kenya? That's it? Scary! Best Book: Point Blanc.

Haha I remember this series, used to love these books. I think my favorites were Point Blanc and Skeleton Key. And my least favorite was Eagle Strike, although I've only read up to Scorpia.

@Andr913 The villain in crocodile tears was trying to POISON kenya, Alex Rider was the one who flooded part of it!

Does anyone know when the next one (entitled: Yassen) is coming out as I read Crocodile tears at least 9 - 11 months ago (a couple of months before Christmas) and I'm just wondering whether Mr. Horowitz changed his mind and decided to end the series with Crocodile Tears. I sincerely hope I am wrong.

Yassen (which is actually still a bonus in this quiz) will no longer be the 9th book. That has been pushed back to the 10th and will involve very little of Alex rider. The 9th book will be called Scorpia Rising which was confirmed by Horowitz recently. Dont know when it will come out though. Cant believe its already been 8 months since it came out though. Thats crazy. @Line & skillet574: I think thats Eagle Strike. Its the one where the game is controlled by movements of the body right?

good series with one problem, they all were too similar. different names, different places. all the same. villiain tells entire plan becuase he underestimates a kid but alex always kicks a$$ in the end

Agreed. It should have ended with him dying in Scorpia. But meh, the last two have been pretty good. (Ark Angel was the only bad one)

@Sheldon: Really? I feel the complete opposite- Ark angel was one of my favorites, and if he had died in scorpia, it would have sucked.

well i just kinda think it got absolutely ridiculous that he went into space. I wouldve been happy with the end of the story before that other rocket took off. And that was the one that seemed the most farfetched, and most of the characters were very similar to others in previous books.

pretty good series. i stopped in the middle of snakehead. pretty much the same thing every time: character intro, pointless event, alex wins something/takes vacation, finds the villain, gets locked up and finds a way out, then is heroic

5/8, because ive only got books 1-5. Anyway, I'm only up to eagle strike. So far I think the best is... either Point Blanc or Eagle Strike. My least favourite is stormbreaker(But i loved the snooker game).

My favorite is by far Scorpia. Least favorite is probably either Crocodile Tears (the series seemed to get stale and repetitive by then), or Skeleton Key. And the movie was awwwwwwful!
