	I'm not a big fan of the Tornado Alley question. Sure, a tornado can happen anywhere at any time, but there are still certain places and times where they are significantly more likely to occur.

	Not only are half the facts in these questions wrong, but there are no definitive answers to any of these. Check wikipedia before you make a quiz next time.

	Tornadoes can throw debris much farther than 10 miles. There are 3 definitive tornado alleys (Tornado, Dixie, and Hoosier). The average tornado life is theoretical as more tornadoes are studied than 20 years ago. Most tornadoes last but a few minutes unless than are EF2-EF5.

	I don't mean to be rude, but... most of these answers are just wrong. A radar system can "take a picture (which isn't a good description)" however often you want it to, but typical NWS radar systems update every 5 minutes. Just because tornadoes can and do happen everywhere doesn't mean there isn't a tornado alley. The average lifespan of a tornado is certainly not 40-60 minutes; in fact, that number has decreased over time because of increased reporting and better surveying techniques identifying short lived tornadoes that would have normally been missed. Tornado debris can and has been thrown farther than 10 miles. And it would be fun in the "other stuff" column to include relevant examples, like the widest tornado ever recorded in the 2 miles wide question. Also, you spelled "weird" incorrectly.

	As a meteorology student this quiz hurts my brain. A lot of these questions are just plain wrong. Global warming has nothing to do with the average length of a tornado. This is just terrible.

	Not to mention only one tornado on record has packed 300 mph+ winds, and there is very much still a tornado alley. Ugh.

	I'm a meteorologist. Here are some comments: 1) A radar can be set to "take a picture" (more correctly, complete a full volume scan at multiple tilts) in whatever time you want. The NWS typically uses Volume Coverage Patterns (VCPs) the complete a full volume scan approximately every 4, 6, and 10 minutes, depending on the weather situation. 2) Check your source, tornado debris has been found well over 10 miles from the point of origin. 3) Tornadoes can happen just about anywhere depending on the synoptic situation, but there certainly is a tornado alley, which is in the central part of the country which is more prone to tornadoes due to the unique geography and air masses that set up around this area. 4) The average lifespan of a tornado has not magically changed through time. Our knowledge has improved as well as our ability to observe. 5) While the "when is it safe" question is important, I don't think it's pertinent for this quiz. 6) A purple tornado? Really? While the color of the debris may be visible, the tornado itself is clear or cloudy depending on whether there is a condensation funnel. 7) While it is possible, it's important to note how rare this width is. 8) Again, not an important question to ask. 9) "A tornado can grow or come closer very quickly" It would be better to point out that a tornado with a small width still has the potential to have fast, damaging winds and contain dangerous large debris. The width of a tornado is not proportional to wind speed. 10) Again, not important. In fact, not a question.
