I think the quiz would be much improved if it was easier to read the clues. I would recommend making the font of the War/Battle and Gross columns white

Oh, and also it's "Ia Drang," not "La Drang"

Good quiz, amazed Hunt for Red October isn't on here. Does it not qualify because it wasn't an actual war?

Its amazing that Gone with the Wind doesn't feature - presumably this is because the figures reflect box takings at the time. I won't mind betting that GwtW has been seen at the cinema by more people than any the top three film combined.

Another movie that you missed was The Hurt Locker. It grossed US$48,612,915 in 2009.

Life is Beautiful made $57 million, and it's as much a war movie as Schindler's List.

What about Star Wars? It's technically a war movie

What about Tropic Thunder? I know it's a spoof of war movies but it still has war in it sort of. It made $110 million.

I'm a little confused on your source; it doesn't take you to any sort of list or anything. I second DarkPhalanx's suggestion about the color scheme--it's difficult to read as it is. Still enjoyable though!

I think Das Boot is up there as one of the top grossers. According to Wikipedia, it grossed $84,970,337. Although Top Gun does not take place during a wartime, it grossed $353,816,701 (almost 140 million more than Saving Private Ryan), potentially putting it on the top of the list. For healy34: The Hunt for Red October grossed $200,512,643, so it should be up on the list.

I know its a Sci-Fi but Independence Day should be on here too

Also Dr. Strangelove, All Quiet on the Western Front, and the Hurt Locker and I think Avatar could suffice
