	Make sure "King" is accepted for MLK Jr, please - right now it accepts "Jr" but not "King." I wouldn't describe Walt Disney's contribution to American society as philanthropy first and foremost. Likewise John Marshall is more important for his tenure on the Supreme Court. I'm hesitant to include Fermi and Einstein, born outside the United States but moved to the US, on a list of Americans with Eliot, born in the US but moved away - pick one or the other.

	Thomas Paine was born in the UK, though it could be argued that as he lived some of is life in the USA and died there, he could be counted as being an American.

	I agree that you need to pick a definition of "American" and stick with it. In addition Einstein, Fermi, and Paine, Tesla was an Austrian, Carnegie was born in Scotland, and as far as I know, Leakey never even lived in America.

	Alexander Graham Bell was Scottish or Canadian, never American and @WCR Roentgen, John Logie Baird invented the television, and he was a mix of Scottish and English

	This is extremely loose regarding who is American or not...to name just one, Einstein was German. Also, Henry Ford lived from 1863 to 1947, NOT 1819 to 1891.
