It's a little bit easy just to enter all the countries of the world when you got 10 minutes. Perhaps you could split it up in 2 or 3 quizzes and cutting the time down?

very suprised North Korea isn't among the highest military spenders given it's widely accepted it's spend is around 25% of GDP (although given that's only a very rough estimate admittedly)

Your source's list of highest inflation rates does not match yours. At least not anymore. It has Zimbabwe first (as it should be) at 11,200,000% (although other sources put it at 79,600,000,000% when last considered measurable in 11/08. That is, by the way, 98% per hour).

I'd accept Rep of the Congo. Surprised Zimbabwe wasn't in the inflation category. And a Murphy missed Ireland :S That's bad... but got Timor-Leste so Sporclitus has kicked in

Given recent news from Greece I think that many of those "hours worked" were spent doing other things rather than actually working.

@kennyb: I'm not sure it's appropriate to assign an inflation rate to Zimbabwe anymore - at least not based on the 2008 figures since they don't have a national currency anymore. They use US Dollars and other foreign currencies there now. If someone has calculated an inflation rate denominated in a foreign currency, that'd be better - since that's what actually affects the population's ability to afford (or more often than not, not afford) certain goods.

Most of the countries with high spending on the military are located in the Middle East, no great shock there, but what are Macedonia up to? Perhaps planning to rekindle it's once great empire?
