	Good quiz, thanks. Having to type in "British" etc is fine because the question is "which Empire". Much too much time is my only criticism.

	Most of the answers are clumped together so typing "British" twenty times gives you 20 answers in a row. Should randomise the order of questions. And maybe cut down number of answers.

	Good quiz! A few minor points. You have Cuba twice with the similar date ranges 1492-1902, 1492-1899. I would not describe Italian Somaliland as northeast, rather east and south. I think it is hard-pressed to suggest that the Mosquito coast was 'mandated' past 1786 when the British evacuated their colonies, even though their influence remained. If you are going to have the German and British Togo, it is only fair to include the French Togo as well.

	The Seychelles were not owned by the Dutch from 1502-1756. 1502 is just the date they were first sighted (by the Portuguese). They were not formally claimed by anyone until the French in 1756.

	It doesn't make sense to include Israel as a colonial occupier. Call it an occupier, and maybe you've got a debatable point, but that would be like saying France is the colonial occupier of Paris.

	The Seychelles was never a Dutch territory... Not so sure about calling Poland and Czechoslovakia colonies of the Soviet Union either, but otherwise great quiz...

	@theboeyinks2: Israel doesn't make sense as a colonial occupier? Israel exists because people from Europe and America moved to Palestine to build settlements on Palestinian land. Israel is obviously a colonial state.

	Haiti was never French. Saint-Domingue was French. Haiti is a separate entity with different geographic markers than French Saint-Domingue. Haiti has been independent since its foundation.

	Generally good but needs a lot of work. Poland, Czechoslovakia etc shouldn't count, Greece is on there twice, Hong Kong has a bit of a weird date on it (1997 would be logical, as that's when the British lease on the land ended) ... etc. Lots of little things. Also I think Israel is a bit iffy. The Palestinian territories aren't really colonies. There's quite a lot they arguably could be actually but they're not colonies. You could call them occupied territories though and have a case for it.

	It is filled with all of the same countries: UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal, Japan, Ottoman Empire, Russia, Italy, Spain. Add some more: China, India (old empires), Arab Caliphates, Maya Kingdom, Austria-Hungary, Songhay, Mongol.
