Michael Oher is one of the top, if not the top rookies. He should get some sort of acknowledgment.

Im not sure which NFL.com you are looking at, but my NFL.com says Brian Cushing = 133 tackles. Not 86.
Jan 11th, 2010 at 10:10 GMT
They counted solo tackles, not assisted.

@WhiteTee he got a book, a movie, and a large contract from the Ravens. He's doing ok even without sporcle acknowledgment.

Fixed Hakeem's name, added Stefan Logan (not sure why they don't list him in rookie stats... too old I guess). And yes its full tackles, doesn't include assists.

stefan logan isnt a rookie. he was signed in 2007 by the dolphins, cut, and then played for the cfl for a season. now hes on the steelers.
Jan 11th, 2010 at 20:47 GMT
Yeah, Logan def isn't a rookie. And its hard to have leaders for O-line since there's not many useful statistics to judge them by.

I live in Washington and the only bright spot is Brian Orakpo.

Shocked to see Heyward-Bey didn't make one of these lists, or heck all of them given his combine performance.

Byrd will be an excellent player for the rest of his career. He'd have even more if he hadn't missed the last 3 games (one of which was against the Curtis Painter-led Colts)
Jan 12th, 2010 at 04:19 GMT
Logan was never on the dolphins roster, only practice squad. He is a rookie.
Jan 12th, 2010 at 05:23 GMT
"Undersized rookie Stefan Logan has added some sizzle to the Steelers' lagging return game."-straight from ESPN. NFL says it's his first year as well, so sticking with he's a rookie.

@kraffcock: you just look dumb now.

As I recall, someone made a quiz where 2004 was considered Carson Palmer's "rookie year", after he had sat on the bench all of 2003. They backed it up fairly well, stating that the people who keep NFL statistics consider a player's rookie year to be the first year in which they accumulated any kind of statistics. So using that logic, yeah, Stefan Logan was a rookie, since he didn't accumulate any game stats while he was on the Dolphins' practice squad.
