Wow. I tried EVERY POSSIBLE WAY to spell Karen's last name...except that. I also believe there's some confusion about the correct way to spell Pam's last name. I've seen it several different ways, so it couldn't hurt to accept more than one spelling.

You might want to accept more ways of spelling Karen's name. Also, I believe Phyllis is hyphenating her name (Dwight said it that way when shouting last names) so that could be the "official" answer. And are you gonna change Pam's after next week?

I agree there should be more leniency when spelling Karen's last name and Pam's last name has only ever been spelled 'Beesly' as long as I've been watching the show.

Well, the spelling of Pam's name is no longer an issue - now it's Halpert!

Hmmm I don't know if Halpert should count for Beesly. Even the source page says its Beesly.

@PhillyG21. That's the inspiration. The show is set in Scranton, PA. Scranton's AAA team when the show debuted was an affiliate of the Phillies, and Howard was tearing up the International League. If you look close at the early seasons, you'll see some SWB Red Barons memorabilia.
