Reddit finished 65 according to the source. Obviously we're not spending enough of our workdays there.

Why is Walmart Online "commerce" but Amazon is "retail"? Especially since PayPal is also "commerce" that label doesn't seem to fit Walmart.

Windows Live must be doing something right, since it's 9th on the traffic list! Or is it something wrong, because nobody seems to knows about it... Hmm, now that's a problem for the marketing team to look at.

I was about to complain about America Online not being accepted until I found that they officially changed to AOL. I did not know that. I also did not know that anyone still used them.

Perhaps you could accept weather.com in addition to The Weather Channel? I forget the channel even exists because the website has become so ubiquitous.

I got "Go" accidentally from typing "Google" on the quiz, and I think half of the people that visit Go.com get there the same way...

Forgive me if I'm being stupid, but is Windows Live not the same as Hotmail? I always thought it was, so when 'Hotmail' didn't work I didn't try any other variant

Being a freshman in college, I would say a college student's list would look more like 1. Google 2. Tumblr 3. Youtube 4. Facebook 5. Twitter (and I don't even use Tumblr).

For those who've asked the question, Go is Disney's web portal. If you search for Disneyworld, it'll take you to disneyworld.go.com. ABC Network? Abc.go.com. ESPN? Espn.go.com.

Nobody types in go.com just like nobody types in windows.live.com.... It's just the address through which other services and sites flow.

I'm amazed that the HuffPo was the highest visited news site. No wonder Leftism is so successful in politics if a Liberal mouthpiece like the Huffington Post is the most popular site at which people get their news. I'm not advocating Fox News or any other obviously biased outlet, but I wish more people got their news from a more neutral source. Even CNN or USAToday would be better.

The clue for craigslist threw me. I was thinking of internet ads (banners, videos, etc.) and wondering, "Who would intentionally go to an ad site?!?" I'm not sure what kind of clue I would have put - "classifieds" would be too much of a giveaway.

Top 30 websites seems like a strange number, doesn't it? Why not the top 50, or top 100? Oh, right, because there's "gentlemen's special interest literature" at number 32 :P

@markyb: HuffPo is now the official news site for several online companies, like AOL. If anyone reading their AOL mail or on the AOL website clicks on a news article, it takes them to the HuffPo article.

According to their own rankings, Alexa themselves only come in at spot 1,272 on their own list. It's not exactly ironic, per se, but I still find it strangely intriguing...

@prockstar83: Haha, that didn't even cross my mind! Actually, come to think of it, #25-#50 might be better anyway, because people might want to see what barely missed being an answer on this quiz.
