	I'm not sure what the Elo scoring system but it seems messed up considering it has England ahead of 2 teams(Germany and Portugal) that appeared in major finals and semi finals in the decade while England failed spectacularly in each competition they qualified for.

	Honestly it's France at second that surprises me the most. For all England's supposed 'spectacular failiures' (not getting past the last 8, mostly) we haven't had any world cups as bad as France had in 2002 and 2010.

	Yes, but it seems that this includes the years 2000-2009. France was European Champion in 2000 and World Cup Finalist in 2006. Such rankings do usually also include qualification games and even friendly games. England did qualify sovereign in most cases and was among the last eight at the WC 2002 and 2006 and the Euro 2004.

	I'd even question Brazil being number one. I'd hesitate with Germany (Final in 2002, Semi-Final in 2006, Final in 2008). Brazil was 'only' champion in 2002 and didn't do what we expected of them in 2006. But overall, Top 3 should probably be Brazil, Germany and then it is kind of difficult to decide, France why not, but Italy could also be in the top 3 or even Portugal that didn't do a bad decade either.

	No Greece on the list despite winning Euro 2004?! I know they have little else, but I would have thought that would be enough to scrape into the top 20. Obviously not.....

	Yeah I'm English and I doubt we should be ahead of a fair few of these teams..
