	@barnztormre learn when someone's at least halfway joking. There wouldn't be anything wrong with making that a fun BONUS answer, which is what was suggested. @Cockroach this is obviously a quiz where it's acceptable to allow last names for some and not for others. If the quiz asks for the missing member of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, there's no reason it should accept only a last name as an answer since the answer would then essentially be given in the question. If it's a case of multiple members with the same last name, knowing the first names should be required. Is it just me or are there far too many people complaining that they actually have to know things?

	@pete32782: I'd agree that it makes sense for some cases (like Crosby) but "Wilson" works while "Iha" does not, and it's a trifle annoying.

	@jasperwyld and biglar5: points taken and agreed...in my opinion there are some quizzes that are unique in that they should take different factors into accepting last names or full names, and this is one. However, I will say that the quiz writer should be up front about it at the start, just so everyone knows what they're dealing with. If knowing just the last name makes it obvious you know your stuff, like Petty, Iha, or Waters, then that's all that should be needed. But if you're just throwing last names against the wall hoping they stick, like Wilson, McVie, or Ramone, then why should you get credit for that without knowing the first name?

	Hmmm, "McVie" was acceptable for John McVie even though Christine McVie was part of the question. So that established that just like every other Sporcle quiz I've ever played, last names only are accepted. Then I saw the Crosby, Stills & Nash question and laughed. So I typed in "Crosby" thinking wow, what an amusing gimme this is. And what the heck, it wasn't accepted. It never even occured to me that typing "David" was required.

	I'm nowhere near good enough with band memebers to score well on here, so to make myself feel better I'll nitpick. Public Enemy have a space before their '...' and The Killers just end with a comma. Now I'll go feel all self-righteous instead of depressed about scoring 7/25.

	I agreee that you should have to enter David Crosby, as his last name is in the band name, and I think you should also have to enter John McVie rather than just McVie, as Peter Green named the band after him and Mick Fleetwood. No reason why simply Iha shouldn't be accepted for Smashing Pumpkis though.
