I reckon EPCOT should have an Australia bit. BTW i'm british so i'm not being bias, just thought it would be a good idea. Good Quiz!

There are a few countries that would be cool; Egypt, Greece, India, Jamaica etc and I read somewhere that Australia, Russia, Spain, Venezuela, United Arab Emirates, and Israel were originally considered but never made it past they planning stages. Still, there is some room left so you never know...

Speaking of Disney nerds (me), "The American Adventure" is actually the attraction at the American pavilion, so technically it shouldn't be accepted. Otherwise any attraction name (i.e. Maelstrom) would be accepted in the place of a country name. :o)

Love Disney World, Illuminations at the end of each day here is the greatest firework show on Earth. I personally think Brazil should be the next country, different continent, different language, great food, iconic symbol. There's space between China and Germany, so maybe one day.

Apparently they were in the planning stages of a Soviet Union pavilion when that country ceased to exist.

@madloveformattynay No, the pavilion is called "The American Adventure" as is the name of the show (Speaking from the map and Disney books)... It's like how The Seas With Nemo & Friends is the name of both the pavilion and the attraction found within

I was there and -being European- found it cheesy beyond belief. The only redeeming factor was the variety and quality of the food there, really excellent restaurants.

Quote by tvfan2:"Apparently they were in the planning stages of a Soviet Union pavilion when that country ceased to exist." I still call Russia "The Soviet Union."

It's too bad Walt died before getting to finish everything in Disney World. He was going to build a whole city there, with businesses, schools, and everything else. It would have been so cool.

That would have indeed been awesome. Why didn't they continue his dream? (Cool quiz, btw.)

They sort of did - there is a town nearby called Celebration that was designed by Disney World.

It amazes me that Epcot hasn't expanded to include India, Russia, or anything in South America or Oceania.

What is the bonus? @ Holey: EPCOT is a theme park located in Disney World. It actually stands for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow!

I love anything Disney. I'm still holding out for the long-expected Spain and Australia pavilions. Apparently, Israel was going to be a pavilion back in the day, but it was deemed too controversial.

I would love to see pavilions like Spain, Australia, Israel, Brazil, Egypt, Ireland, and something like Sweden, but maybe that's too similar to Norway. They could add a lot more very cool additions to EPCOT.

"US" being accepted but not "United States" is strange, and I would definitely make "United States" acceptable. If the quiz asked for the pavilions in World Showcase I could better understand the omission, but it explicitly asks for the countries represented. And I too would love a new pavilion or two. They aren't completely out of room just yet around that lagoon.

Has anyone ever eaten at the Biergarten restaurant in the Germany pavilion. An all-you-can-eat Bavarian feast with polka music and hot German waitresses? Yes, please (well, I could do without the polka music, but the other two things are keepers). Great, great food.
