It would be helpful if you had the states in alphabetical order. I spent all the time looking for the names.

I agree with randomizing it. I would have found them all in 10 seconds if in alphabetical order. It's like giving away the answers.

I have to say that I agree with bowsntoys. Although it does make it more challenging, the challenge of this quiz is "Can You Pick the Original 13 Colonies?" not "Can You Find The Original 13 Colonies. If you wanted to make a quiz where is how fast you can find an answer, this would be it.

30 seconds should be enough with the states in alphabetical order. Randomized, you'd need at least a minute and a half before you're even testing someone's ability to recall the states, rather than testing their ability to do a word search.

I get that you didn't want to make it too easy with listing the states in alphabetical order, but then you need to give more time since a lot of time is wasted looking for them.
