	You should retitle this - why the US is as bad as the UK (I'm from UK) - in any case I don't see why the things mentioned above are reasons why either one is better - they're just differences

	London is cooler than Washington, General Motors is bankrupt and makes crappy cars, 'God Save the Queen' is awesome when the Sex Pistols sing it, Oxford is much more prestigious than Harvard, and Jagger is miles above Tyler.

	you should accept 'Washington' and 'Obama' only, shouldn't need D.C. on the end... On the comparing sports - Baseball and Cricket are similar in many ways, i can why being from different countries depends on what you enjoy more but Football vs. American Football...please...one is non stop and takes some skill and the other one is start-stop, start-stop, start-stop. I grew up in Australia to love world football, but gridiron is way too slow for me.

	as for the sports you're saying that american football is better than the number one played and watched sport in the world and baseball is better than cricket the number two most watched and played sport in the world.
