You should specify what sport you're referring too. For a while I thought you were taking about football's FBS schools.

Too many omissions. Off the top of my head: Notre Dame, Grambling, Troy, New Orleans, Norfolk State were all rejected ...

Great premise for quiz. Nobody is perfect, and you missed a few here - Hampton, Norfolk State, New Orleans, Illinois-Chicago, Saint Louis, Niagara, Texas A&M Corpus Christi, etc. Also, try to allow for more alternate answers. JRicoC - Notre dame isn't a city, but you're right on the rest.

Great idea. But I would ask for some consistency. CS doesn't work; I have to use Cal State. But I have to use UW-Green Bay, not Wisconsin-Green Bay.

You forgot UNC Chapel Hill. Also, Wake Forest is located in Winston-Salem, but it was originally founded in Wake Forest, NC. So it is named after a city.

forgot SIU-Edwardsville. And if you're gonna get as technical as the guy before me, add Sam Houston State.

JRioC, Notre Dame does not have a city in its name.

You should add George Washington. I know it's named for the president, but Washington is also a city, even though it's DC.

There is actually is some merit to to JRicoC mentioning Notre Dame as it is actually located in the unincorporated community of Notre Dame: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Notre_Dame,_Indiana. But is not technically a city.

Yes, I realize Notre Dame is an unincorporated community, as is Stanford. It would not have been horrible to include them as bonus answers, along with places like Manhattan (a borough) and UMBC (which refers to Baltimore County) ...

Maybe change to "Can you name the NCAA Division 1 Schools with schools' home cities in their name?" Also, alternate answers instructions are on the quiz creation page
