The question about "deuce" in tennis is incorrect. Each player has scored at least three points, but could have scored more (as long as they've scored the same amount).

You need to specify an imperial gallon, as the US gallon is a different size, and I know how Americans can get wound up about Sporcle quizzes being too global for their tastes...

Really enjoyed but, for the question about "what number would you put after 00 when dialling the UK" should state that you mean the whole number, not the immediate number (if that makes sense) as I put 4...with the wording I thought that was what was being asked. Unless thats just me

I would actually say that my true love gave me 364 gifts total -- 1 on the first day, 1+2 on the second day, 1+2+3 on the third, and so on.

Your clue for 42 is wrong. In Hitchhiker's Guide, that is the answer to life, the universe, and everything, but they don't ever state what the question is, and they actually explicitly reject "What is the meaning of life?" Also, you should specify that "bingo" refers to bingo in the UK. Numbers for bingo in the US top out at 75.

There is also a Kalashnikov rifle called the AK-74. Also, it could be argued that there are 16 letters in "the days of the week".

You mean a LINE of iambic pentameter. And why is it deuce "for the first time"? Any deuce is the same. Halley's comet is apparently 75.3 years, so not sure why that's been rounded up. 'Pony' is not Cockney rhyming slang for 25, it's just slang. The rhyme is pony and trap, and refers to something else entirely. SeaCal is right about HHGG, as is kcostell about the gifts, though in that case at least it's obvious that 364 isn't an option.

"A verse is formally a single metrical line in a poetic composition. However, verse has come to represent any division or grouping of words in a poetic composition, with groupings traditionally having been referred to as stanzas." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Verse_(poetry)

Thanks for the comments. Have amended where relevant, but am leaving Halley's Comet as is, due to the majority of sources I have found (e.g. http://nineplanets.org/halley.html) being of the opinion that 76 years is closer to the average periodicity. I am also leaving 'verse' in the iambic pentameter clue, as the French term 'le vers' is where we get the English word 'verse' from, and this originally referred to a line of verse poetry. ('Line' and 'verse', where metrical poetry are concerned, therefore mean the same thing, 'stanza' being the correct term for what most people tend to call a 'verse'.)
