| A lot of names could have gone ahead of Couch. Couch was stuck on an expansion team and got hit on almost every throw. I always wondered what Couch could have been if he had an decent offensive line and maybe a few offensive weapons to throw to. He always looked pretty good when he had some time in the pocket. Klingler and Carr had no shot either with those offensive lines and no running game. The other qb's, well, I heard that Mirer struggled once they tried to expand the playbook, Leaf was a baby, Marinovich was a pothead, and Shuler... I really don't know what was with him. |
