Sruce should be spruce... Fun quiz, I got 24, but this was hard for someone who sees mainly olive, palm and citrus trees out the window!

Not easy for someone from up north either. Never even heard of Hackberry, Sourwood, or a bunch of others. I would also think of Holly more as a bush than a tree.

These are NATIVE trees, not common trees. There are more eucalyptus and palm trees than elms (because of Dutch elm disease) for example.

It might be worth specifying common native trees (I tried Ailanthus), but overall a great quiz. Butternut suprised me. (Isn't it a Juglans? All the others are unique in their genus, but we already had Walnut. Not your fault, anyway.) This should be under science, not misc. probably would get better coverage over there.

I'd have thought Madrone would be on here, but I guess it is just common on the west coast and southwest.
