| What's your definition of skyscraper? Looks like your source gives one, and you should probably include that here. |

| marpocky: I think most people know what a skyscraper is - it's not easily confused with say, a house. |
 | Fidelio: | Dec 17th, 2009 at 06:53 GMT | | 4 points |
| It's too easy with the hints - you don't need to mention what country each city is in. |

| would it matter if we were told how many meters, or floors a skyscraper had? would we get any different number correct or incorrect? would you guess des moines if a skyscraper was defined as 66 instead of 67 floors? come on, don't be so picky. |

| maybe accept Shenzhen as well, seems to be a normal way to spell it |
 | isildur: | Aug 2nd, 2010 at 14:38 GMT | | 1 point |
| Seconding Pelmert. Typing "shen" into google gives phrases beginning "shenzhen" as suggestions. Really Shenzhen should be the answer. Good quiz though. |

 | Tex17: | May 22nd, 2011 at 02:14 GMT | | 2 points |
| most of Sao Paulo's highrises are under 100m |

| Hey you stole my idea Rubashov! I was about to make the same kind of game, but then you stole it! Well at least I've been at your Source. Everything's correct. Good quiz, but you are such a robber to me. |

| I was almost positive New York Citty would be on here |
 | StupidBunny: | Mar 15th, 2013 at 05:06 GMT | | 14 points |
| ^I'm almost positive it is. (Well, New York CITY is anyway. ;)) Anyway I'm amazed that Dubai ranks fifth in skyscrapers worldwide. I knew it had a lot, but considering that cities like Beijing and Taipei don't even make it onto this it's kind of insane. |
 | steesh182: | Mar 15th, 2013 at 05:35 GMT | | 12 points |
| Beijing really isn't that kind of city. Whilst it is massive, it is not the high rise type. In China, the high rises are really left to Shanghai which is more of a modern city compared to Beijing's historical feel. |
 | Woodchucker: | Mar 15th, 2013 at 08:25 GMT | | 11 points |
| I was surprised not to see Sao Paulo. Many high-rises below the cut-off I suppose |
 | Zak6009: | Mar 15th, 2013 at 11:06 GMT | | 0 points |
| Agreed about Beijing. Though because it wasn't on here, I didn't even think to try all those other Chinese cities, even Hong Kong. |
 | phibbyfan: | Mar 15th, 2013 at 12:05 GMT | | 28 points |
| I hate seeing "Willis Tower". Even in the tower, the souvenirs still say Sears Tower. Changing the name of such an iconic structure should've just been denied. |

| I couldn't spell Kuala Lumpur. I also had to look up 2 of the Chinese cities.
I love Sporcles' ability to educate while we have fun :-) |

| Lots of surprises on this quiz. Sao Paulo, Rio, Beijing, none made the cut! |
 | antoniobroto: | Mar 15th, 2013 at 12:58 GMT | | 4 points |
| I live in Beijing, never thought in trying... it's not a skyscraper city. Maybe because it suffered an earthquake in 1976.
What surprises me is see so many people thinking in Beijing as a skyscraper city... |

| @Stupidbunny
Beijing and Taipei are both population dense areas w/o many skyscrapers. If you ever go atop Taipei 101- you see how flat the rest of the city is. |
