| There's a problem with this kind of statistics: it's hard to define who is a person of Polish (or German, or French, etc.) descent, especially in countries that received a large number of immigrants. If in Argentina a Rossi marries a Murphy, their children will be considered as of Italian descent by the Italian community, and of Irish descent by the Irish community. In short, the same person is counted twice or even more times if the nationality of the grandparents, etc., is considered. |
