| That's right, they changed the rule after Hawkins threw his no-hitter. Maybe they were tired of all the no-hitters, since there were so many in 1990-91. Hawkins should at least be a bonus answer, though (along with Matt Young, who also threw an 8-inning losing no hitter in '92 for Boston). And MLB should overturn that rule and give those guys their no-hitters back. |
