okay if there are any mistakes with spelling or a player missed or even an active/inactive player missed please tell me and it will be fixed. also i would like to point out that this must be the only home run quiz with Omar Vizquel on it, and as a tribe fan i'm proud of it!!!

Nice spin on a tried and true style of quiz. Well done.

Agreed, nice way to change things up. One absence I noticed; Trot NiXon with 137 HR.

Good spin on quiz....but I believe Mark Teixeira should be on here.

Terrific quiz—mixes the old and the new, the familiar and the obscure. Job well done, a well deserved nomination.

thanks a lot @metsfreak. i got the idea for this quiz from a published game from a few days ago (which used most populated cities). it would be very nice to get my first published game!

Charlie Maxwell should be on here as well for 'X'. He had 148 homers.

I believe Mel Ott is the only member of the 500 Home Run Club missing from this quiz, as only having two different letters in his last name limited his chances. Roger Maris could have hit as many as 554 career Home Runs and still not made this quiz, as his last name includes 5 of the letters that have the toughest top 5 to break.

I love that Vizquel makes the list because Q is so rare, and even more so that he's still active. Pretty soon he'll be older than the number of home runs he has.

This is probably the only quiz in history where 'Omar Vizquel' is in the Top 5 for home runs.

If only Bonds had as many letters as Saltalamacchia...

Kept trying Jamie Quirk for Q, but only 43 HR in a career that spanned 18 seasons

A really unique blend of baseball knowledge with logic to deduce answers based on the remaining missing answers. 5 globes for creativity.

I hate these types of quizzes where I miss someone really obvious (like Reggie Jackson) and pay for it. And by hate I mean "know it's a really good quiz"

Would like to see another version where it's just the starting letter of the name (not simply containing the letter). Then at least i could try to figure out some of the letters instead of just guessing random players.

Jamie Quirk and Humberto Quintero don't even combine for enough to make the list.
