there were 10 or 15 from the top 100 that didn't make the cut. 1 of those from the top 50. i tried to make them as bonus answers but i couldn't figure out how when the answers are separated by hint.

Good quiz, but Bernie Williams played his entire career for the Yankees in the AL. He's listed in the NL column.

i figured it out. it is actually billy williams who hit 392 home runs for the National League

Good quiz. It made it difficult because the majority of the players listed here played in both leagues so the HR totals most associated with the players can throw you off. Plus, guys like McGriff, Evans, Gaetti, Burks, Clark, etc get bounced from the list altogether despite being in the top 100 overall HR list.
