John Kruk never played for the Cardinals. 4 players hit 1 playoff HR for the '87 Cards (Herr, Lindeman, Lawless, Oquendo)

TROY O'Leary played for the '99 Red Sox. Pitcher Tim Leary retired in '94. However, Garciaparra and Valentin hit 4 HR each in the '99 playoffs for the Red Sox; O'Leary had 2HR and 7 RBI in game 5 of the ALDS (almost his entire post-season offensive production)

In 1981 the Cardinals and Reds, despite having the best records in their divisions (and the Reds having the best record in the National League) did not enter post season because they didn't win either half. Kind of sucked.

I'm guessing what you're looking for is the HR leader for each team that made the playoffs from 1980-1999, not the actual Playoff HR leader. The leader for the '87 Cards was Jack Clark with 35. The 1981 playoff teams were (due to the strike) the Brewers, Yankees, A's, Royals, Expos, Phillies, Dodgers and Astros.
