	Well alot of japan is mountainous and most of the population live in the cities so makes sense... Tokyo alone has about a quarter of the pop.

	Tried Nauru, Tonga and Vanuatu, then gave up with the Pacific nations assuming they wouldn't be there either. Damn. Also it's nice to see countries from all across the globe on one of these types of quizzes too.

	Japan actually has one of the oldest forestry programs in the world, dating back to the Tokugawa Era. Jared Diamond wrote about it in his book "Collapse."

	This is a hard quiz since I don't now many African Countries so then I do what I always do and hit give up and kinda soak in all the knowledge. Also I am not surprised Japan is on this list since when I look at pictures from Japan thats not from Tokyo or another huge city I see a ton of Forestry especially on some of the not hugely populated islands.

	@montecarlo: I don't know about Canada. I think they got it right - they put their maple leaf in the middle of an ice field - which is a good description of much of the very far north of Canada, and maybe those red stripes are about the prairies. Canada has huge tracts of forest, but they also have huge tracts of prairie and tundra.
