Should I keep it at 3 minutes or make it truly challenging at 2?

Make it 2 minutes — or possibly even 1. It’s not much of a challenge at 3 minutes (82% are getting it all.)

You changed it to two minutes, but the game note still says three minutes. Just had to point that out. Still fun and very challenging

54 seconds! Had to console myself after only getting 66 out of the 168 prime numbers under 1000 in that other quiz. Time for booze!

ok i got 15/27 but i did use pencil/paper -- i cannot for the life of me do mental math... After I ran out of time, i continued anyway on my own to see how many i could do... Had a lot of trouble remembering how to do percentages (been out of school WAYYYYYYYY to long) but just figured it out :) LOL... Anyways i know you were looking for a challenge, but this was impossible in 2 min. in my opinion.. I think 3 mins was probably good

I got 25 without using a calculator or pencil. I guess I feel pretty good about that.

It's not impossible, but you have to be in a focused state and fairly good at mental maths. There are certain shortcut tricks that help. Like the x19 in the final column is best done by multiplying by 20 then taking off whatever the number was. Squares and roots are things you just learn from years of doing maths.

Buncha negative Nancies here. Apparently making any sort of comment at all on a math quiz is grounds for a negative rating. Feel free to mark me down for pointing this out! :P

Am I only one who loves doing mental multiplication and division, but hates the subtraction? Brings back bad memories of timed subtraction quizzes as a kid.
