You missed 'Asuncion' as a possible 8-letter 'A' Capital. Also, please clarify the title by adding 'World' to the description. My first guess was 'Augusta'. Good quiz, otherwise.

I added Asuncion, but with an 'ó', so I will add a normal 'o' instead! And will add 'World'. Thanks

Also this Grab Bag will be a bit harder than the last! And the next one, harder still as I have been adding more specific categories with fewer answers!

How come Revelation doesn't work for a 10-letter Bible book? Other than that, good game. :)

I believe you are missing the host of the 1952 Olympics for 8 letter answers in that category.

Good quiz. You are also missing Palmerston for UK prime ministers. Perhaps he should be counted as Henry John Temple, but Temple wasn't accepted either. And as a Simpsons fanatic, Pitt the Elder and Lord Palmerston were two of the first names that came to mind.

Why do users now insist on putting Harry Potter in these general knowledge quizzes, as if it's a commonly accepted subject on a par with capital cities and musical instruments? For a non-fan, it's an extremely specialised subject and really stands out from the rest of the categories.

I think I spent more time trying to be clever and come up with answers that work for multiple categories (Brown, Kings, Athens, etc.) than it would have taken me to just answer the questions separately. But it was fun!
Also, thanks for crediting "L.A." as "Los Angeles"—you saved me the trouble of typing "ke Placid"!

Sporclitis has struck when the last question you answer in a quiz like this is the SIX-letter Potter surname. Spent ages on it........

Things that I tried while thinking "OK, let's enter first the long names, the short ones will be much easier" and then realizing that they were *too* long: Lillehammer, Chamberlain, Deuteronomy and violoncello ("Yes, usually it's just 'cello', but I suppose that the full Italian name will be also accepted").

Challenging and very fun! 5 orbs. Interestingly, I was starting to type in "Lake Placid" for the 10-letter Olympics city, and was surprised (pleasantly) to have it fill in "Los Angeles" just two letters in.

Seems I was the only person to be annoyed when it Gave me LA when I was writing Lake Placid. At least they're the same length, I suppose.

Did saxophone somehow get missed on the orchestral instruments? Or were you requiring "tenor sax" or "alto sax" or some other more specific instrument?

I noticed saxophone wasn't there when I played this earlier, but managed to get away with Xylophone :P! Any way, I have added Saxophone now

Not a fan of this one. Tried Brown for PM, it accepted Black as a Harry Potter surname. What's that all about.

@lopsi. But did it accept Brown for the PM as well? If so, you got double credit for Lavender Brown in the Potter series.

When revealing the answer for Orchestra Instruments, 10 letters, only double bass appears without the ... after the answer. However, I typed in French Horn to get the answer correct. Hence, the ... should have appeared.

Perhaps you could consider adding the books of the Orthodox/Catholic bible? This would include Tobit, Judith, Wisdom, Baruch, and 1 & 2 Maccabees. Awesome quiz!

@Segaboyno I agree, also "big four sports teams" is very annoying for a non-American, it seems to be on every one of these type of quizzes.
