Please specify these are World capitals as opposed to US or something else.

i absolutely agree with pita; it's a bit confusing as-is. i had just done the IOU presidents quiz, so my brain automatically assumed US capitals--i had tried denver, atlanta, and tallahassee to no avail and was starting to get pretty frustrated as to why nothing was working.

Thanks! Also added a pointer for World Capitals and not US Capitals...

Wow, tough, tough quiz. Fun though! Classic Sporclitis - got Tarawa, missed Canberra and Athens.

Sporcle-standards generally count Dar Es Salaam as the capital of Tanzania.

Thank goodness I suddenly thought of the old Central Asian SSRs. 3 in the last 10 seconds.

Ouagadougou didn't quite make the cut on this one.

Couldn't figure out why I couldn't spell "Reykjavik" correctly to get the quiz to accept it--took about five tries before I realized no matter how I spell it, it's still got an 'i' in it...

Karach . . . Katmand . . . Sarajev . . . damn it.

One minute left, running out of ideas and trying to think of places with mostly A's in them. "Islamabad! I-... damn."

Why not more time? :(

The irony of there being no IOU in Athens!

I should have known it was too early in the day for complex thought.

I love this quiz. The time is tight but I think that adds to the fun.

Very difficult!

I think a bit more time would be nice - I was trying to go through the capitals by region, and hadn't got all the way round the world when the time ran out.

Ouagadougou should be an ironic bonus answer.

The funny thing is that Quito is 5 letters long and it has all 3 of these letters.

Many of them didn't have an 'E' either. Seems quiz-worthy.
