| Nice quiz! Great timing, too - I only got 17, but only because I wasted time misspelling Arizona. |

| My flawless thought process: is there anything in the Northeast? Vermont...no, New York...no, PennsylvaniA...no. Okay, let's move on then! |

| Fun quiz! |

| The problem with saying the states alphabetically and typing the ones that sound right is that you feel pretty dumb when you get to the end of Arkansas and Utah. |

| i have to say i absolutely hate these state quizzes. as a brit, i don't know the states like the back of my hand and want at least a few minutes to give myself a chance at these quizzes. might just make one myself. americans can be so inconsiderate sometimes :P |
 | Chris968: | Apr 7th, 2012 at 16:32 GMT | | 4 points |
| Oops, missed my own state. I always do that! |
 | Honest_John: | Apr 7th, 2012 at 16:33 GMT | | 31 points |
| As another British Sporcler, I could not disagree more mattzaliar. I think my knowledge of US states has improved drastically since playing Sporcle. |
 | camerons: | Apr 7th, 2012 at 17:05 GMT | | 10 points |
| I completely agree Honest_John (I'm British) |
 | Trivial_Theresa: | Apr 7th, 2012 at 17:28 GMT | | 11 points |
| Wow, this quiz has to do with quick thought and geography, mattzaliar. Half the stuff on sporcle is for entertainment and to TEST what you know. As an American I would gladly take a British oreinted quiz. |
 | RobPro: | Apr 7th, 2012 at 18:02 GMT | | 28 points |
| @mattzaliar... I made the quiz... I am British :) What do you say to that? |

| I'm part of the 1% who got North Dakota but was stupid enough to forget South Dakota. |
 | Artistewolf: | Apr 7th, 2012 at 19:33 GMT | | 3 points |
| It was easier to name the states than it was to type them all in one minute!!!! |
 | mrmanheim: | Apr 7th, 2012 at 20:36 GMT | | 0 points |
| yes, not hard coming up with them but plenty hard typing them, especially with all of the adds and popups |
 | CraigBerger: | Apr 7th, 2012 at 20:39 GMT | | 0 points |
| 96%. Of course, I missed California, since I live in Los Angeles |
 | ArtFever: | Apr 7th, 2012 at 20:41 GMT | | 6 points |
| Obviously New England wasn't the best place to start in... |
 | pete32782: | Apr 7th, 2012 at 22:39 GMT | | 2 points |
| @mrmanheim especially when you don't make sure the popup is closed before you click start on a blitz quiz? |
 | eab21: | Apr 7th, 2012 at 23:18 GMT | | 5 points |
| @mattzaliar: And the beauty of Sporcle is that there are plenty of other quizzes to choose from if you don't want to play one! |
 | montylaw: | Apr 8th, 2012 at 00:22 GMT | | 0 points |
| @mrmanheim, how do you make sure the popup is closed before you click start? What is "the popup"? |
 | dumbgai: | Apr 8th, 2012 at 01:04 GMT | | 5 points |
| Good quiz! The timing is perfect for providing a fun but not overwhelming challenge. |

| Oh, apparently Manitoba isn't a US state :/. |

| Best for last, I guess. Good Ole PA! |
 | ananana: | Apr 8th, 2012 at 18:41 GMT | | 2 points |
| I agree with Honest_John - I'm a Brit and my friends think I'm a bit weird for knowing all the states and random American knowledge! |
 | steel03: | Apr 9th, 2012 at 03:39 GMT | | 1 point |
| To the Brits - I know the ceremonial counties of England thanks to Sporcle. I use it as an opportunity to educate myself as well as test my knowledge. |

| [seinfeld]Nevada![/seinfeld] I always forget NEVADA. darn youuuuuuuu |
 | xolkan: | Apr 9th, 2012 at 23:37 GMT | | 0 points |
| Missed California even though I kept saying it over and over I just completely forgot to type it lol.
I'm a Canadian and my family thinks its weird that I know the 50 states and their capitals. |
 | danielisaac09: | Aug 24th, 2012 at 16:32 GMT | | 1 point |
| Just to nitpick, though Washington DC is not technically a state, it does end in an A.
Possible bonus answer? |
 | zaphenath: | Apr 30th, 2013 at 20:59 GMT | | 1 point |
| Missouri should be on here . . . at least, the way a lot of peole say it. |
