| @midlife: Yep, we win a championship in Philly roughly once every other pope, and it's maddening. But you know what? The Phillies, Flyers and Eagles, as much as they drive us crazy, still sell out virtually every...single...game. (And if the Sixers don't, it's because this has always been a college hoops town.) We admittedly aren't the most lovable fanbase on earth, but we take a back seat to nobody in terms of loyalty and passion. We cheer and we boo but we never sit on our hands, ever. As a lifelong resident of the Delaware Valley, I wouldn't have it any other way. |
