so i guess this was home runs while actually playing that position. mcgwire hit 70 that season but i assume he may have played dh in an interleague game and hit a home run....same with bonds, he hit 73, but you have him listed at 71. and ortz topped out at 54 i believe but he musta have played first base a few games that season.

luke, yes I only included HRs hit while playing the position. buffalo, thanks and let me know if you find a website that breaks it down by OF position. I searched all over but could only find OFers grouped together.

@Rieges: You could also take the top three outfielders. Also, the time needs to be cut way down. I finished in 36 seconds. Granted, I missed one, but I wouldn't have gotten him unless I started guessing common last names.
