	Nice one. I saw CENTERFIREEN and instantly thought, well that's not a challenge, they left the first seven letters of centerfielder in order. I was pleasantly surprised when I realized I wasn't reading it right. And I did have to bring my palm into contact with my face as punishment.

	Man, CENTERFIREEN was tough. Aside from the already mentioned centerfield pecking away at my brain, the whole concept of "the answer" is much more common in football. I've only seen it in baseball live once (when my son, a catcher, was hit by a bat), and on TV a handful of times in decades of watching. ESPN makes it easier with highlight shows.... It's perfectly valid, of course, but rare.

	Centerfield was easy once your figured out the theme but in all the years I have watched baseball I can't remember more than twice that the "i" word was called it is a very rare occurance.

	odd choice with interference. I mean it definitely happens, but it's a pretty obscure part of the game. There are three types that I can think of: catcher interference, when the catcher glove impedes the batters swing; fan interference, which is self explanatory; and runner interference, e.g. the infamous A-Rod slapping play.

	spikes and interference are odd fits for the theme since they are not routinely associated with baseball. @dalheim, there is also fielder interference, where an infielder purposely impedes a runner; and batter interference, when the batter interferes with the catcher trying to throw out a potential base-stealer.

	Spikes---those things on the bottom of the shoes. It's nice to see a quiz on a sport I actually watch.

	I loved this! My favorite sport, and even the colors are those of my favorite team. (Hint: I almost didn't finish in time because all I could see for SEPSKI was PESSKI)

Second, I've seen you've made a ton of Themed Mixed Words. @dalheim, gg213606, and Tony_A: I did not choose to put in spikes or interference. The Admins put them in. @Pogues: I know what you're saying is a joke, but I actually have seen Angels in the Outfield.
