| X-Factor was never great, but up until maybe the post-100 issues, it was solid X-universe storytelling, and no real nonsense. But like the other books would eventually do, it got onto the ridiculous 'former longtime villain becomes an anti-hero/member of the hero team' train. Which is lame and has only worked convincingly with Magneto, who EARNED it. The Mystique, Juggernaut, Sabretooth, White Queen turns were nonsense and betrayed the spirit of the books.
Anyone just starting X-Factor, read no further than Quicksilver. |
