	i dont like imdb's ratings, they dont accoutn for commedy and they love animated films and weird movies like pan's labyrinth and downfall too much. where's the love for superbad and pineapple express?

	i think its just guys that vote on this stuff. some of the movies are great. dark knight is wonderful, but def. not number 1. where's brokeback mountain, children of men, sideways, almost famous, the hours, moulin rouge. movies that are actually great and were important to the decade as a whole. even if we are just doing guy movies i would have liked to see the hurt locker on there. and pan's labyrinth and ratatouille are both amazing movies and do deserve to be on this list.

	how is shaun of the dead not on here-its ranked 229 in the imdb top 250, which should be good enough to be the top 50 of the decade

	Wow, not what I expected. In Bruges, Snatch, and V for Vendetta are all great movies that I love, but never would have expected them to make the list.

	Sin City? In Bruges? The Prestige? Im not sure those are movies that will go down as "best of the decade" imdb. Im not saying that the movies on here arent good. But some could be removed for Crash, Brokeback Mountain, Children of Men, Chicago, and American Beauty. I think those films define the era much more. but Yank8221 i have to disagree with you a bit about Pans Labyrinth, i think its one of the most beautiful films ive ever seen.

	I think this is actually a pretty good list. Movies like Crash and Children of Men really aren't good movies. I hated both of them, whereas the Prestige is an incredible movie in every aspect. And while the list is biased towards a certain type of film it really does a better job of reflecting what movies were actually good than academy awards do.
