R doesn't need an asterisk. That image doesn't have to be from First Blood. It could just as easily be from Rambo: First Blood Part 2, which came out in 1985. Or Rambo III from 1988, for that matter. In fact, with the ammo bandolier he appears to be wearing, either sequel would be a more accurate answer. He's never that well-equipped in First Blood.
So I think you should you should drop the asterisk and accept Rambo but display Rambo: First Blood Part 2 as the answer.
For I you should really just have a different image. It's not really true that the video release started with I. It was on video for 25+ years with it's original title. Only when the box set of DVDs came out a few years ago was it ever referred to as Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. But regardless of what George Lucas chose to put on the DVD packaging, the name of the film is Raiders of the Lost Ark. That's how it's registered with the MPAA and that's how it's preserved in the Library of Congress. Use an image from Temple of Doom or Last Crusade and there'd be no issue. |
