Having two Zs means you're using a blank, which makes our number one worth 22 points.

^^ Maybe we're playing super scrabble? You missed out Poliwrath and Poliwhirl, who're both also worth 17 points.

Okay pretend you have more letters. And I'll add in Poliwhirl/Poliwrath

If you're making this scrabble-based, you really ought to follow the rules of Scrabble. While these are obviously proper nouns, it's literally impossible to have more than one Z (or K.) Putting those guys in two spaces (one for the ideal version and the actual point value) to acknowledge this would be great: for instance, you could have "32-ideal" and "22-actual" (with better terminology) for our number one. It would be more consistent and more fun. This is a great quiz, it's just inconsistent with the basic concept of Scrabble: using a set amount of letters to form words.

Also, why are Poliwhirl and Poliwrath bonus answers? Their 17 points aren't less than the other 17 points or anything.

Charmeleon is also 17, and it is definitely exeggcute, i've never seen it spelt eggsecute anywhere ever.

okay I'll add squirtle and charmeleon. Don't know how I missed them. And @Jay if we were playing by scrabble rules then the only one that could count is slowpoke because the rest aren't words.

Okay now its top 29 with the changes.

Which is why I said they're all proper nouns. The difference is, if you get a game of Scrabble you can spell out "Charizard" even if it's not allowed in a regular game. You physically can't spell something with two Zs or two Ks unless you use a blank. Period. I don't know why you're so against such basic logic, especially given the perfectly reasonable alternative I suggested where you list both the ideal score and the actual score as answers. I guess if you're content with just arbitrarily voting down comments I make and having a worse quiz for it, you can go nuts.

The quiz is fine the way it is. Having an "actual score" and an "ideal score" would not only be confusing to most people, but if the two scores were different it would give away extra information that should not be available. For instance, seeing "Actual score - 17, Ideal score - 22" would be a dead giveaway that the answer has two K's (since a blank is in place of a 5-point letter), so Kangaskhan would become unfairly easy to guess.

Err... why isn't Zigzagoon on there? It's 29 points. Assuming you can use 2 z's which you need for Electabuzz anyway.

Found more: Vileplume=22, Weepinbell=22, Victreebel=21, Kabutops=19, Venomoth=18, Aerodactyl=17, Nidoking=17. There may be more than THAT. You may just want to redo your quiz and look through more than fifty or so Pokemon.

^do you even know the right values? nidoking = 1+1+2+1+5+1+1+2=14. aerodacytl = 1+1+1+1+2+1+3+1+4+1 = 16. kabutops is 16 too. so is vileplume. im pretty sure all the ones you mentioned arent 17 or higher
