Ah, such a shame that Kitee doesn't make it.

You should accept the Swidish names for the cities, too. Finland is after all bilingual.

Also Jyväskylä etc. should be accepted without the umlauts. Some foreigners may have no idea how to write them. Great (and easy) quiz! :)

Seinäjoki needs to be umlaut-fixed. Thanks for the quiz.

"Stadi" should be accepted for Helsinki, "Manse" for Tampere and "Lande" or "Pönde" for those 18 other cities.

Never heard of #2, Espoo. The only ones I knew besides Helsinki were Tampere, Turku, Lahti and Vaasa.

i got four cities. As an american, i cheated a little bit though as i had a finnish exchange student so i knew helsinki, oulu, turku, and vantaa. i should have also known espoo and kuopio though.

@recklessness: Espoo and Vantaa are part of Greater Helsinki area. Technically and politically they are distinct cities but it's often easier to refer them as Helsinki (especially when talking with foreigners). For example Helsinki Airport is in Vantaa and Helsinki University of Technology in Espoo.

Is it too childish to admit why I remember "Espoo"?

Swedish names are accepted now? Well, "Åbo" didn't work for me. Didn't try "Tammerfors", "Tavastehus" or "Uleåborg" though. ;)
