ROFL. Dumb list. Lidstrom ahead of Orr, Harvey, Shore and Bourque??? And where is Red Kelly?

Bobby Orr is #1 and I think Ray Bourque is a distant 2

as much of a wings fan as I am, putting Lids above Orr is a sign of an idiot.

You could have specified this is all time and not just today's game.

that is ridiculous; as great as Lidstrom is, Orr is the greatest defenseman ever. Also should specify of all time. because I was typing in Chara, Niedermayer, Pronger, Gonchar, etc.

@ b4ustar8 - did you start watching hockey in 2005? Chelios was a superstar in the 90s. Note that he's 46 right now. Anyways this list sucks. Lidstrom is 5th at best.

@ kmad- I agree with your Chelios comment b4uster8 is a moron, but really lidstrom fifth at best. I think Orr is the for sure number 1 and then after that it's a toss up between lidstrom and harvey for number 2.

When your source is a blog, you got your first problem. When that blog believes that an age old addage is an actual "known fact" you have your second problem. When that blogs entire argument for the list can be summed up in 6 editorial (not factual) sentences, you have your third problem. All of which adds up to a quiz just begging for terrible comments and scores. But... nice effort, anyway.
