When will I ever learn to trust my first instinct? I knew both Vinton and Belafonte but both times I told myself, nah, it can't be him. Nice change from all the other music clips quizzes.

Grr. 16/24. Not getting Zarah Leander is pretty damn embarrassing, not to mention Joan Baez and Charles Trenet. But I like this one, it makes for a refreshing change. Plus, I never in a thousand years would have thought to hear "Griechischer Wein" on Sporcle, so thanks for that. ;)

I can't see this being an awfully popular quiz, but it is quite nicely done.

Yes, probably the singers are too obscure, too international and too old to get much popularity. But it will get critical acclaim, at least from me. And thanks for choosing the best one of Jürgens.

A pop music quiz that isn't (too) American/British-centric! That in itself is worth 5 globes. However, it would really help if the time frame when one singer stops and another one starts was included in the quiz, if you need to go back and re-listen.

I am overwhelmed by the positive feedback, especially because it is no quiz that serves the Zeitgeist, but values eternal quality. Thank you all. I have added the time each piece of song starts, I hope that helps.

I am not old enough to know most of these. Too bad my parents don't do sporcle (I was expecting easy, rock, and in English, like Robert Plant or Bono =/) That said, you still should include Lennon or McCartney

Tough but enjoyable - it's always good to hear Jacques Brel.

Showing my lack of culture but I must say I never heard of some of these people, but that is cool. Never heard of Ofra Haza but she has an amazing voice.

@redsox635: One can always argue about who else could or should be in a quiz. But one has to make a choice. @dollymix: Thank you. I’m glad you enjoyed it. @Slider71: I’m glad if this quiz also serves to introduce some of those great singers.
