| @rrafay: According to the CIA World Factbook, the breakdown is 50% Muslim, 40% Christian, and 10% indigenous beliefs. Also, the Yoruba are actually a majority-Christian group (about 60% to 30%), at least in Nigeria. The Yoruba who live in Benin may well be all Muslim, and that might tilt the scale over to the Yoruba being majority-Muslim, but as far as the Yoruba in Nigeria go, they are majority-Christian. |
