Yes, Mighty Max with an E, not a U. For me, Moonie will ALWAYS be the Who drummer, and my all-time fave drummer period, but Zak Starkey over Kenny Jones??? Why, RS--just to have him right under his dad?

That should be Dream Theater, not Dream Theatre. Surprisingly, this is a pretty good list! It includes a lot of my favorites.

Lots of misspellings. Should be Gene Hoglan as well as Weinberg for the answers, and it's Fates Warning in addition to Sepultura and Dream Theater.

Anyone else find it ironic that Rolling Stone would put a list together that features drummer from bands they refuse to induct into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?

I would have gotten one more if I knew how to spell "Colaiuta." This is one of those lists where you know #1, and just skip to "who's number two?" Like Hendrix on the best guitarists list.

I find it very difficult to believe that Rolling Stone would have omitted Benny Benjamin.

How come Lars Ulrich is higher than two arguably most talented thrash/death drummers ever, Igor Cavalera and Gene Hoglan (yeah, screw Lombardo). Kicking myself for forgetting Hoglan, that man's a machine. And no.1 is awesome.

Aynsley Dunbar is the correct spelling.
