| Right, I'd forgotten to update this in ages but I think now I've fixed all the errors. Colonies are being named by either the official or most commonly used contemporary names for the administrative areas. The South Sea or South Pacific Mandate, for example, now encompasses Palau and the Marshall islands among others. Malaysia is now broken up into the units it was in at the time, Sarawak, North Borneo and British Malaya - as well as Brunei and Singapore. Guernsey and Jersey are separate. Ethiopia/Abyssinia, Italian Somaliland and Eritrea are all subsumed under Italian East Africa, which they were all part of in 1939. Dutch Timor is within the Dutch East Indies. Various missing invasions have been added: Madagascar, Sudan, Kenya, British and French Somaliland, China and Korea (both by the USSR in 1945.) Others which were wrong - Samoa, have been removed. Puppet states are now not included. |
