"Jane" could be a bonus answer for Peter Pan, cf. the end.
Jan 12th, 2010 at 23:42 GMT
@RebeccaAMax -- Thanks! I didn't remember that happening at the end.
Jan 13th, 2010 at 02:17 GMT
(If you want it to be hidden, so as to keep the "foursome" thing, put "ee" in the column to the far right next to it.)

AWESOME quiz. I love the inclusion of Harry Potter and Dr Seuss with stuff like the Homecoming series and A Wrinkle in Time. Love love love.
Feb 14th, 2010 at 03:35 GMT
you should accept "the tin woodman" for the tin man--that's what he's called in the book.
Feb 20th, 2010 at 13:05 GMT
wow got the most missed (Mike TV) but didnt get Peter (least missed) lol
Jul 16th, 2010 at 17:44 GMT
Aw, so much nostalgia. I loved the westing game, and the homecoming saga. So nice to see a lit quiz that goes beyond harry potter.
Jul 16th, 2010 at 22:19 GMT
any chance you could accept other answers for The Giving Tree? Like "seat" or "chair"?
Jul 17th, 2010 at 17:48 GMT
You should accept "Alexander McSouthers" as well as Sandy.
Jul 20th, 2010 at 03:29 GMT
I can't believe so many people missed the Boxcar Children! That makes me sad--I was raised on those! Speaking of, please don't accept 'Ben' for 'Benny' because he is NEVER referred to by that in any book.

Thanks to you recent commenters! Your suggestions have been made.

Ahh I used to love the babysitters club! 5/5 for including it!
Apr 13th, 2011 at 17:26 GMT
fun quiz! I read all of these books, but I definitely couldn't remember every name!
Apr 13th, 2011 at 17:31 GMT
Amazing how many names give you multiple answers.
Apr 13th, 2011 at 17:36 GMT
Peter should count for Peter Pan
Apr 13th, 2011 at 17:49 GMT
Pretty sure Claudia is "Kishi"
Apr 13th, 2011 at 18:16 GMT
Definitely Kishi Loved this, but can't believe how hard it was to remember some of the names of books I know I've read all of, especially Boxcar Children and the Tillerman cycle. I think that means it's time to reread them!

Absolutely loved the appearance of the BSC, I loved these books as a kid and had or read nearly all of them
Apr 13th, 2011 at 19:34 GMT
Great quiz. Massive love for the inclusion of "The Westing Game."

Please accept multiple spellings for Harry Potter houses
Apr 13th, 2011 at 21:29 GMT
How is it possible that Sandy from Wrinkle in Time and Sandy from Westing have two different percentages? It gave me both automatically when I typed Sandy.
Apr 13th, 2011 at 21:47 GMT
@Meltha: It accepts McSouthers for the Westing Game. so two possible ways to get the right answer. not true for a Wrinkle in Time.
Apr 13th, 2011 at 21:48 GMT
the houses from harry potter should only have one spelling
Apr 13th, 2011 at 23:08 GMT
Please have Windkloppel as a bonus answer, since that's Sam Westing's birth name.
Apr 13th, 2011 at 23:52 GMT
So happy to see the tillermans included. Loved those books. Voight visited my middle school for an assembly and got us all hooked.

Got Meg as a Little Woman, then Peter Pan...and I couldn't resist guessing Chris, Lois, Brian, and Stewie.
Apr 14th, 2011 at 02:03 GMT
Did anyone else get Jane as a bonus for Peter Pan? :)
Apr 14th, 2011 at 02:52 GMT
Can you accept Charles for Charles Wallace?
Apr 14th, 2011 at 04:00 GMT
Not to be nit-picky but Tin Woodman not Tin Man should be what shows up for that character as that is what is what he is named in the book. He's is only referred to as The Tin Man in the book on rare occasions if at all.
Apr 14th, 2011 at 04:05 GMT
@SapphireSon...yes, also Wendy's daughter Jane is also a bonus. Also the ever present Toto is bonus under Yellow Brick Road Companions.
Apr 14th, 2011 at 05:42 GMT
So happy to see a little love for The Westing Game! That book is completely underrated.
Apr 14th, 2011 at 08:29 GMT
It's also Claudia Kishi if I remember correctly.
Apr 14th, 2011 at 11:46 GMT
Was anybody else annoyed when Madeleine L'Engle insisted on using two names for Charles Wallace? It's not like there was another Charles in the book or anybody dared to call him "Charlie".
Apr 14th, 2011 at 18:29 GMT
@slamb: I never understood that either...
Apr 16th, 2011 at 03:50 GMT
i truly though the scarecrow and the tin man were the same thing :( i need to go back and read the book again!!!
Apr 16th, 2011 at 14:25 GMT
I got Jane, wendy's daughter and Margaret, Wendy's grandaughter as extras for the Peter Pan section, and Toto as an extra for the Wizard of Oz section! :)
Apr 16th, 2011 at 21:04 GMT
How could I forget, "You're turning violet, Violet!"? Sigh.
